Design & Implementation 

All lessons are designed to utilize evidenced-based research that aligns with The American School Counselor Association Standards.

 

The lesson topics are thoughtfully selected based on classroom data, student observations, and student needs. These lessons are universally designed to meet the needs of all students, with additional accommodations as needed to fit your child's learning abilities.

Lessons are specifically designed to meet different learning styles, combining handouts, class discussions, and experiential activities (e.g., art, movement, hands-on activities).

In collaboration with teachers, the counselor will deliver lessons twice a month.

 

Outcome

The effectiveness of the school counseling program is measured through assessments, comprehension, and participation. Counseling topics are selected to ensure that lessons support the continued growth in student social skills, self-awareness, and academics.
