GAA offers FREE transportation! Request busing, review the safety procedures, and know the walking and drop-off rules.

Bus Transportation
- Bus service at Gilbert Arts Academy is provided at no cost to our students through partnership with our sister east-valley schools, New Heights Academy (formerly Liberty Arts Academy) and Desert Hills High School
- Stops are preset and assigned based on proximity to your home address
- It is the parent’s responsibility to be early to their child’s bus stop — at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time, morning and afternoon
- Stops and stop times may need to be adjusted throughout the year
Walking To and From School
- Students should arrive at school no earlier than 7:45 AM — there is no supervision on school grounds until that time
- Walk on the sidewalk at all times; if there is no sidewalk, use the left side, facing oncoming traffic
- Never cross between parked cars
- Students should leave school grounds immediately after dismissal unless taking part in an organized after-school activity
- Students MAY NOT walk home unless their parent/guardian has given verbal or written consent to the front office
- Please inform the office and teacher well ahead if your child will be changing their regular means of transportation
Student Drop Off & Pick Up
Parents should drop off and pick up their students in the designated area on campus. Do not block driveways, student crosswalks, or parking places, and please be orderly and mannerly when picking up your students. Do not park in front of the school. Walking up to the side gate for pick-up is NOT permitted unless you’re picking up your student from KRP — KRP parents/guardians must park and enter through the side gate for sign-in/sign-out.
