Parent Involvement
We recognize the benefits actively involved parents bring to our students, and we value their input — from helping with projects at home to participating in meetings and school-improvement projects.
To preserve and maintain the relationship between school, parent and student, we adopted the following policy, outlining expectations from all.
The School Will
Provide a safe, secure environment on a closed campus · employ only staff that are highly qualified and certified · maintain a positive environment suitable for learning for all students · provide students with a foundation for continuous learning · provide a challenging curriculum aligned to the Arizona Academic Standards · provide every opportunity for students to achieve academic success.
The Parent/Guardian Will
Contact the school with concerns regarding attendance/behavior/academic achievement · reinforce mutual respect for all teachers, staff and other students · reinforce dress code · reinforce positive student behavior/participation at all activities · assist students in seeking additional help in order to achieve · support students in their learning and completion of all assignments and homework · ensure students are at school and on time, with minimal tardies/early departures.
The Student Will
Attend class punctually and prepared to learn · accept the codes of conduct as outlined in the handbook · show respect to all teachers, staff and students at all times · ask for help on assignments not clearly understood · turn in assignments and homework on time · attend tutoring classes with teachers if and when requested · put 100% effort into school work at all times · take responsibility to learn and achieve in every class.
