Drop Off & Pick Up
A safe and speedy drop off and pick up, every day. Please do not drop off or park in front of the school office — the red painted curb is a no-parking zone for emergency vehicle access.
The Quick Drive-Thru Line (K–8)
- The pick-up line follows the curb around to the west side of the building; the first car pulls all the way forward. Form 2 lines beginning at the yellow crosswalk — lines will merge; the 3rd lane remains open
- Drop off begins at 7:45 am — wait for a staff member to be present; students exit on the west side of the building
- Pick up begins at 3:00 pm Mon–Thu, 12:30 pm Friday — parents must remain in the car line; there are no pick-ups from the gate
- Place a sign on the dash with your student’s name and grade in bold print; students are called to numbers 1–6 — pull forward to your student
- Students enter the car on the passenger side for safety; if your student needs help buckling, pull into a parking space after loading
- Stay with the flow of the line — don’t pull out, cut in, or exit early; follow the line through the exit; don’t enter the exit lane or turn left out of it
- First-time pickups: have your ID available — the office verifies you’re on the pick-up list
- Drive with caution in the parking lot at all times
Walkers & Bike Riders
No earlier than 7:45 am on campus. Cross at the crosswalk; walk bikes/scooters on the school sidewalk; enter the west gate (bike rack available). Dismissed at 3:00 (12:30 Friday). Parents must give written permission for students to ride/walk home.
KRP Families
Park and walk in to sign your student in/out from the classroom — entry through the side gate. See the KRP Statement of Services for detailed procedures. Families with both KRP and K-8 students may pick up the K-8 student from the pick-up area while walking to the KRP classroom.
After Dismissal
Students not picked up by 3:15 (12:45 Friday) will be directed to aftercare; fees may be due at pick-up. All pick-up changes must be made through the office, in advance.
Dismissal Reminders
All teachers have a duty at release time — please don’t approach them for a “quick meeting.” Email them or wait until after release. Do not get out of your car; we will ensure your child gets into your car safely.
