Friday, March 2, 2012, students will participate in the 'Read Across America' national challenge to read as many books as possible in one day! They will be taking AR quizzes throughout the day and watching a live counter of how many quizzes are being taken nationwide. The goal is for students to break the record of 2,177,586! Third through sixth grade students will be reading books to kindergarten through second grade students and each class will have a scheduled 'outside' reading time. A very special guest will visit each class to read a Dr. Seuss story, and green eggs and ham will be served to all students who ordered hot lunch that day!
