Positive Behavior Interventions System — prioritizing positive behavior and character development through consistent tracking and recognition.
Class Dojo
Teachers use Class Dojo to reward students for making positive choices. Parents are invited to join at enrollment or the start of the school year — monitor your child’s progress and celebrate good behavior at home.
Mustang Bucks
Students who go above and beyond expectations earn Mustang Bucks, which can be redeemed weekly for classroom privileges or saved and entered into quarterly prize drawings.
PRIDE Recess
As a weekly incentive, students who consistently meet behavior expectations are invited to PRIDE Recess every Friday — a time to celebrate positive choices and commitment to our school values.
Addressing Unwanted Behaviors
Students follow a structured reflection process: first a warning and a reminder of the appropriate behavior. If the behavior continues, students take time away from the activity to complete a Think Sheet and reflect on how their actions impact learning. A second warning may lead to a phone call home, and repeated behaviors may result in an office referral for further consequences.
