Mrs. Hedrick • grade 4
Mrs. Hedrick has been in education for almost 16 years and this school year will be her second at Gilbert Arts Academy. She has taught mostly 4th and 5th graders in her career here in Arizona. Though an Arizona native and married to her high school sweetheart she started her family in Seattle, Washington, where she had two beautiful girls. She moved back to the Valley of the Sun to be with close family and friends. She graduated from Arizona State University in 1993 and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree from Northern Arizona University. She loves quilting, reading, camping and spending time with her family. She also coaches AYSO girls soccer for part of the school year. "Working with kids is the best life!" says Mrs. Hedrick.
