Ms. Jones was born and raised in St. Clair Shores, Michigan where her parents, grandma, and two brothers still reside. She graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and an Early Childhood endorsement. Even though this is Ms. Jones’ first year at Gilbert Arts Academy, she has spent the last seven years teaching preschool, kindergarten, and 2nd grade in the city of Detroit and its suburbs.

Ms. Jones just recently transferred to Arizona, and said she is "enjoying exploring this amazing state, spending time in the Arizona sun, and meeting new people!
